Can anyone recommend a good quality accoustic guitar for my husband, he is learning at the moment and has a 2nd hand guitar which was okay, he has had it serviced, but it doesn't seem to stay in tune as well now. Something for around 200 would be good, but we could go a wee bit higher for something really good.
I would recommend that he go into a decent music shop and play a few guitars. That will give him a feel for the instrument and he will also be able to ask the advice of the staff.
Thanks spudqueen. Yes, he will do that, but it would be good to have a personal recommendation so that he doesn't feel like he is getting scammed at the shop. Also as he is really only a beginner, I don't think he is keen for other people to see him trying to play!
I can't fault it and neither can the person teaching me - I think it's won the best acoustic under 1000 award too. I shopped around and this was the cheapest I could find it. It was also delivered in well under 12 hours so the service was great too!
