Aloe Vera works very well, it cools on the skin, and helps to reduce alot of the peeling that is associated with burning.....Nozema is pretty good too.........if u can stand the smell................burns depending on the level of burn.....a few days to a week or so
My friend swears by essential lavender oil (take advice on safety and suitability for yourself as you would with any essential oil).
aloe vera is good as are all aftersuns. whatever you use keep it in the fridge so it's nice and cold when you put it on.
when I had really bad sunburn when I was 11 the doctors suggested natural yoghurt. aftersun spray is good. mine took around a week to start peeling and go. needless to say I always use at least factor 25 sun cream now, wouldn't want to go through that again.
Palmers Cocoa Butter (Cream or lotion) is grrreat.
Calamine lotion is really cooling...
E45 lotion every time
halve a chilled tomato and rub it on its exellent for cooling it down.
