The norm for Labyrinthitis (Lab) is to last between 3 and 8 weeks and then disappear without so much of a trace, although some people can suffer the symptoms for months or years. Inner ear dizziness is different to the �normal� dizziness most people have experienced at some point and can give feelings of drunkenness and alteration of perception and what is known as �marshmallow feet�.
As said above, it could be panic attacks, but if it is possible that it could be the ongoing effects of Lab then you shouldn�t really be driving at all, since a lot of factors can enhance the symptoms of Lab, such as being tired or focussing for long periods, as well as loss of confidence and self esteem.
