did anyone watch these two last night?

Q1. Was Jamie putting on a 'west country' accent at times or is there something wrong with my hearing?

Q2. Are those two in the Wild Gourmet the most boring, obnoxious, arrogant people around and would it be ok if I got that guys gun and shot the pair of them?

Personally, I think Jamies new programme is extremely boring and too short.
James Martin did a similar thing called Dig Deep, based in his own garden which he created from scratch. Personally I think that was better than the Jamie Oliver version.

I thought the cook yourself slim Sloaneys were bad enough, but these two are just as irritating.

I have watched James Martin's programme and I like the fact that it is his veg garden, especially when it shows how he has done things wrong like planting too close together, its much more believeable and natural.

LOL, 'Cook yourself Thin' has me reaching for the remote -anything but that.

The continuity on the Wild Gourmet was bad too, at one point he goes to cut an oak branch and the next thing he is chopping wood, smelling it and saying how he loves the smell of cedar. Also I would prefer not to see his bare @rse but perhaps that is just me.
I like Jamie's recipes but this programme drives me insane as he never looks at the camera and talks to someone out of shot.
I loathe the two people in Wild Gourmet. She needs a good slap and he needs to keep his pants on. I like the idea of foraging for food, but realistically, how many of us have shotguns/fishing permits for rivers/friends with land for shooting on etc? The whole programme is too contrived, particularly the "let's see what we can barter with this conveniently placed farm shop we've just stumbled across."
Rant over!

LOL mrs overall, my sentiments exactly!
I agree with you all. I switched off last night & read a magazine instead. Couldn't get on to AB.....

Or the conveniently placed 'wild fare' poster nailed to a pole in the middle of nowhere! Or him taking his top off to relax and sunbathe and her standing in a field 'allegedly at the same time' obviously ball frozen and you could even see the condensation on her breath. Oh and where did she find the cinnamon stick in the herb garden, on a Tesco cinnamon stick tree perhaps? And I reckon the 'second' pike she caught was dead already. Grrrr........ I really don't like them do I?
The Jamie programme really winds me up, as there's no way he looks after that garden himself! Most of the recipes seem to involve sloshing a different veg each week around in olive oil! I used to really like the Naked Chef shows but this is DULL
i like both programmes ,my only critisism about jamie is i wish he would buy some new dishes to serve his food on ,some of the ones he uses look like he has dug them up from his garden !!! and mrs overall and warpig keep his pants ON ? that is what makes the programme so enjoyable seeing those pert buttocks !!

I did notice the plates too Glenis. As for the pert buttocks, maybe it just reminds of all the men in days gone by!!!
