can someone please tell me why i am getting the blame for i email i never sent? i have received the email in question, but i did not put it together and i certainly have not sent it to anybody!!

i received an email from an AB member concerning another AB member. this person sent it to a few AB members, it was saying not very nice stuff about another AB member. i never responded or forwarded this email. yet today i have received 2 emails from people having a go at me for this email!! it was nothing to do with me! why am i getting the blame?

I'm sorry posy, not trying to be rude to you honest but honest to God, this place sometimes is like a nursery!!

Dont worry about it, it must just be your turn, the pointless, spiteful ones on here (and they come and go, different ones over the years) will move onto someone else to spread lies about soon x

Not sure but is this not how spammers work they send you an e mail and when you open it, there is a worm there that goes to your address book then sends it on to people in there and it looks like it comes from you.

I may be barking up the wrong tree but but it seems the same sort of principle.

Read in to that what you want, but as the best detective England has seen since the literal Sherlock Holmes, I am rarely wrong.

No dont apologise posy, I know its annoying and confusing but there is nothing you can really do, your real mates and the ones you will be able to think of as mates now, will know it wasnt you / isnt true whatever.

Anyone with an internet connection can make an email appear as though it's from anyone else. Spammers do it all the time.

Shadowman I dont know who you mean but funnily enough the nastiest nastiest nastiest person I have ever known online comes from Wales too. I have no idea if this person is the russian (if daffy is right in who you may be referring to) but I have thought on many an occasion it could be.
