I bought specs online last year from SelectSpecs.com in Margate, Kent.
Website is http://selectspecs.com/main.php.
I went and got a prescription done at Boots and made sure the written prescription was legible. Then filled in the details online .. and bought myself a fabby pair of Georgio Armani glasses. The service was very fast ... and the glasses are fantastic.
So .. if you can be sure of your prescription it's a great way to get glasses at a slighter cheaper price .. but fantastic range.
Howzat then?
Say hello to Valentina, my talking website host at http://www.blockbusterbooks.co.uk/1.html and if you'd care to sign my petition to Gordon Brown at http://www.petitiononline.com/gwsdrb/petition. html
I'd be most pleased, but you don't have to. :smiles:
Is that business concluded then? :roflmao:

I recently bought a pair of Police glasses from glassescrafter.co. The site is American but my glasses came from China. They should have cost 185+ in Boots but I got them for 50. I didn't have lenses in them so they came in plain glass (my own optician glazed them) so the company waived the postage charge which I thought was very decent of them as I hadn't asked for a reduction. The best thing to do is try on glasses on the high street and take the number of what you like and then order on line. Easy peasy.
