A Channel Five documentary depicts the story of a wife with a fiery character who handed all control over to her husband to 'save her marriage'. The furious rows ceased to give way for her new found purpose � to win back her husband's affections. The idea of 'surrendered' wives comes from a book written by Laura Doyle. She writes about allowing the husband's to make all� decisions, never saying 'no' to sex and wives changing themselves - never their man. What do you think about the idea of a submissive wife � would it be heaven or hell? As a wife could you handle the husband having the last say on everything? As a husband would you relish in having complete control?

I agree that women have been brought up to be submissive... but evolution didn't do that... Men did that... Natural seletion my @rse! Man simply being stronger is what made women more submissive and men more demanding. But times have changed and now a days more and more women are choosing to live on their own but still have a long term partner. Women are choosing independence over a live'in relationship!

LOL rubyrose, agree with everything you say but in my mind there is no point in arguing with Wardy. I just sit back and laugh, enjoy it for how ridiculous it is. I know he is wrong, you know he is wrong and I very much doubt if he believes it himself!
