hi can anyone help me here my ex partner is in court tomorrow on a charge of assault by beating of are 13 year old daughter i was told this week i have to get a court order but have been left with not enough time. can anyone tell me what is lightly going to happen to him in court. he has a history of dv.

i am not sure about your reference to getting a court order. He should be on bail conditions not to approach you or your daughter. In terms of sentence he could well be looking at custody depending on the seriousness of the assault and his previous convictions
