curtains that won't slide
3 Answers
I recently fitted white pvc curtain rains, curtains with hooks, and while initially it was fine, after just a week the curtains stick and judder, it's awful. Anyone not doing it with care could easily pull the whole thing down. I've thought of various ways to lubricate the rail, e.g. WD40, butter, vaseline, but all seem messy. Does anyone have more and original ideas ?

Rub the rail with a candle and then polish well
alternatively, you can buy a silicone lubricant for curtain rails ask at a posh home furnishings emporium near you
