For last two days , when i shut down computer i get the end programme box with cc APP , ENDING PROGRAMME IN IT, WHAT IS WRONG PLEASE>

Are you using a fully up to date Anti Virus application? I only ask because a lot of people purchase an anti virus program and think they are safe, anti viri programs need to know what they are looking for and therefore must be updated with the latest known nasties and that can only be done by updating the definitions from the providers website. If you are out of date and the problem is getting worse.... you are in for a bumpy ride as you have probbably allowed a full blown viri infection... Go purchase the latest or get a free one from Grisoft.

cc app is a part of the norton antivirus program. my puter does that once in a while . i think the cc app comes up if you shut down in the middle of an automatic update

hi. Peanut is half right - it is part of norton, and mine does that every now and then as well, and never caused a problem. Here is something worth knowing - NEVER shutdown the computer while still connected to the net. This is because windows stops norton BEFORE disconnecting, making yr pc vunerable for that short while. Sounds silly, but its important enough for them to put on their website! But, dont worry about the ccapp thing. happens all the time.
