I want to get some new windowboxes. Can I paint the plastic ones or do I need to get terracotta ones and paint them?
If I can paint the plastic, any advice on primer etc. very welcome - or any other suggestions.

best thing i found was yacting enamel gloss paint, can be bought b&q,did my rusty railings with it years ago and they still look good,no primer needed just paint on,would be ok for terracotta too
Plasti-Kote spray paint is ideal for this purpose and can be bought at Homebase. My fav colours are Super ice cream and pastel green.
