Would it be an idea to give users the opportunity to upload thumbnail pictures to sit next to user names? Those that don't want to show their faces don't have to or will just upload one not of themselves. I was just wondering if it might help with the imposter problem in that imposters may not be able to upload the same photo as the original ABer.

They can do that if they wish on SportsBank.

I know, that's what gave me the idea of doing it on here. What do you think Boo?
Why wouldn't they be able to upload the same photo? All they need do is right-click and choose properties to see where the photo is located on the net.
Yeah I'd be put for it, but i'm not sure id put a pic of myself up (would put ya off ya dinner), but I would put a piccy of some description there :-)

Squarebear, you can stop this. My sister's wedding photographer posted all the pictures of her day online and if you right hand click on a picture then a message comes up saying that you can't copy the picture. So it can be done.
Yes, but if you select the image and use the toobar menu (edit, copy) you can overcome that most of the time.

I thihnk in general you would just end up with a load of 'comedy' pictures or cartoon characters whiich can easily be copied anywhere on the net. I would probably use a picture of Johnny Depp (which is not nearly pretty much close to the mark, if you ask me).
I think the idea is the whole site will look like SAB soon anyway so you'll probably get your wish.
That'll do me too CD, though I am kind of worried that when I did post on SportsBank it advised me my favourite topic was the long dead ChatterBank- they trying to tell me summet?
Meglet, it can. Do you have the link of the photos of your sister's wedding and I'll show you?
Yes.

You talk too much ;0P

I have to say... I too will not be partaking of the picture option. I understand this is a family site and as such do not wish to scare small children!
