Recording music with Freecorder

I use a program called freecorder to record music played on my pc.
But I record it and when I play it, there is no sound.
Can someone please help me :)

Click Settings and make sure Optimize Mixer Volume for Recording is unchecked.
click Setup Windows Sound Mixer.
Then click Sound recording and make sure the volume is set correctly and that you have selected the right device for recording with.
