is customer being unreasonable demanding money back over goods not received 4 days after winning with todays post office. wouldnt mind but day it finished was sunday so Post Office not even open.

Hi, I would say that they are. Did you send 1st class? The post office is so crap these days that you can't guarantee anything except special delivery and that costs a fortune.
I've bought things from ebay and I would think it was reasonable to allow a week for goods to arrive. Sometimes stuff has arrived the next day which is fantastic- but I think asking for a refund after 4 days sounds as though the customer has just changed their mind. I know a lot of sellers state when they will post items- could be worth doing next time, perhaps, to save any argument.
most things i have bought have said do not contact within 14 days of sending payment.

I had one once you had sent a postal order to me on Friday and started shouting the odds on the Monday lol.

I always allow up to 7 days to receive payment and then with the post office as it is it can take a week to get there first class.

I would ignore the person and send the goods and keep the feedback open. Ebay will only tell you to sort it out between yourselves.;

Would'nt bug me so much, but the goods were dispatched the day after the item was won so its a post office problem really. It was sent 1st class and as far as we know it still has'nt arrived
Send him the tracking number and the date of postage, so he is reassured.

4 days is far too early for him to be fretting.

Hi ethel, we just sent it 1st class parcel post so we don't have a numberr, the only refererence is on the P.O receipt which we already forwarded. The P O won't do anything for 14 days either
Gawd, i thought i was impatient and I always wait at least a week before asking if its been sent.

Sounds like they just changed their mind? Unreasonable.
