Driving ban

2 years ago I got a 3 year ban after been done for dd, failing to provide a sample and my insurance had run out. I also did 180 hours community service. I understand that after 2 years I can apply for the ban to be reduced. Has anyone done this? What are my chances?

You are correct in thinking that you can reapply for your licence. The law does allow this. You will probably have to have a doctors examination to ascertain fitness to drive. I would suggest that you ring DVLA at Swansea and they will send you the necessary forms. I have a friend that has just done this.
