The short answer is that his punishment, in law, is imprisonment, not neglect or willful killing.
For reasons I hope i explained, I believe that the law must be followed in all cases, however much public opinion and simple human desire for some form of revenge kicks against it.
Wrong laws can, and are changed.
As i said - Timothy Evans is a sobering reminder of what can happen. I am not for one moment suggersting that i think Huntley is innocent, but that the law must take its course in all cases, for the good of soceity as a whole.

andy, i undertand where you're coming from but we have come a long lomg way with DNA since Timothy Evans was hanged for Christies crimes!
I say let him live! Let him suffer each and every sad day of his sad life until his natural demise but along the way, if he gets atacked by fellow inmates then, so be it! It can't all be plain sailing when you've murdered two beautiful little girls now can it?
I hope he suffers more than is imaginable to a decent human being! and if you're in any doubt then just get hold of a pic of Jessica and Holly!
