It is not ok for anybody in the UK to be racially offensive - here is an example of four Muslim men imprisoned for inciting racial hatred in the UK

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/6904622.stm

because thats the way this country is now. you go to any other country and their beleifs and traditions are respected they come to this country and they do wot the like
Normallly to be racist you have to offend a minority - here (UK) this will be black, asian, east european etc. Unfortunately some other countries don't have our respect for diversity. This means that as reasonable, respectful individuals we will get screwed all ways up. Way of the world - the only way out is to become a member of a minority...
in some towns in the UK, white english people are the minority!!!
PrinceRainie - I assume you mean towns in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

:)
Since when have Bradford, Leicester, Slough or Edmonton been in Wales?
Never. But English people in UK towns of Wales, Scotland and NI are in the minority.

You meant English people in English towns.

I have no idea why 'nothings done' about black on white racism. My guess would be that the white person would believe nothing would be done, therefore doesn't take it further.

Rather like 'PC' doesn't exist, neither does this ~ racism is racism, and will be treated as such.
A simple mistake by PrinceRainie, as in England won the second World War.
Ethel - I did realise what you meant

I do realise the difference between English, Welsh, Scottish and Irish

It was a joke

Sorry that it went over your head.
A lot of Black comedians make fun out of white people and imitate a "white Voice", & white mans stereotypical mannerisms, Eddie Murphy and Chris Tucker for example, however when do you hear a white man, nowadays impersonating a "black" voice - it cant be done anymore - it's still racially led comedy - nothing about being aimed at minorities, but one rule for one and another for another.
I recently complained to the BBC about someone making fun of Ali Campbell being a white reggae singer. I found this racist. All I got was - fobbed off (I have taken it further). It always seems that it is OK for black to mock white but not the reverse.
It works the same for sexism - look at the adverts always a bungling male while the efficient female sort it out. (cue sexist jokes saying this is true - I mean some men can use the washing machine)
