Could one of you please explain 21d "J is for jacket" (6) .
REEFER fits (= jacket) but why "J is for"

J can also be short for Joint ( of marijuana )
Reefer is also a marijuana cigarette
Hyphens and apostrophes are conventionally ignored when giving word lengths, after all they can't be entered in the grid.
So, L'etat c'est moi would be (5,4,3)
