Hi all! Iv had SP2 installed since it came out and am very happy with it. In "Add remove programs" i still have the option of removing it. Im sure im loosing precious disk space from the back-up files it creates - how can i sort this?

Run disk cleanup which will remove any compressed files used in the SP-2 installation.

Tried that. but i have "show hidden files" on and there is over 1Gb of folders that say "SP2 backup" or something. not sure if i can delete them...
On SP-1 you could choose whether to keep files so you could uninstall it. On SP-2 you have no choice (which is a good thing if you want to uninstall it). I think you can delete these files if you do not want to uninstall SP-2. I guess in todays terms, 1GB is a small price to pay for the ability to remove the ill-advised SP-2.
