Has anyone bought any Art from Park West At Sea, the in-house Auction on Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises ships? I had a gut feeling about the two 'auctioneers' when I travelled recently - they seemed like side-show con men to me. They also have pretty grim reviews on the internet. A bad reflection on Royal Caribbean, I think.

Like with any purchase, especially auctions, you must do your research. I recently purchase 3 works of art from Park West at Sea and saved an average of $900-$1500. I feel bad for anyone who might have been taken advantage of, but the auctioneers are in business to make money. I'm not saying that lying to their customers is respectable, but I consider them to be in the same category of car salesmen. If they could sell you a Pinto for $40K, they would!
P.S. Why would anyone spend thousands of dollars on ANYTHING with only the opinion of the person selling you the item??????? If you have that much extra income, please send me the money, I can find better uses for it.
