MM & KM Links Oct 2007 [Week 1]

It has been another week and we all start October with a clean sheet! Several regulars are bringing in the points week in week out ~ but end up just behind the leaders. However, no-one can begrudge King Grenmus the Great his convincing victory last week. It was well deserved! We shall soon see what sort of Link Setter he will be as the new Links Game kicks off tomorrow at 9.00am.

All thanks to Crown Jools for a great month of themes and gen2 for keeping everyone under control. One thing I did note was that my mate, Dustybun was back in contention after quite a long absence. I also saw a beaker this week carrying the name "Foxy Lady" and thought of my good friend, FoxLee!

Enough of this sentimentality! Tonight will be frosty and very damp for the Shrubbery Squad, when they will need to be sharp at 09.00 tomorrow morning. That's the time when the new MM Link Game will be launched by King Grenmus the Great, who sets his first set of four words to be linked by fair means or foul!

If you think that's early, the sister game (called KM Links) will be nearly two hours old by the MM launch time! Look out for seekeerz from Oz who looks after the scores on the doors in a parallel universe.

Me? I'm crofter keeper of the scores for MM Links for my sins and tonight is MY Quiz Night at the local Cricket Club!


Good luck for tomorrow, when you will have to tune into another new setter to establish a rolling start for October.

and I hope Crofter reads his e-mails BEFORE he deletes them all!!...But I think he lies in the undergrowth watching us!!!......come on Crofter...expose yourself before we all go to bed!!!!

Alibobs did you bring the man with you ? I'm sure we would all like a fry-up. Please note nothing said about sausages!!!!! I am going to bed in a few minutes as I had a really bad night last night..
I will tell you what happened if you promise not to laugh, but my kids have had hysterics!!!! This morning I woke up and looked at the alarm clock (without my reading glasses) and thought "it feels later than 5 past 5 "but tried to go back to sleep again, I just knew it was later than that so when I looked again I realized my alarm clock was upside down and it was past 7 o clock!!!! MY children can't understand why my alarm clock was upside down and I'm not too sure. Now you really know I'm crazy!!!!I I will be going in a min but willwait to say goodnight to you.Love Kay

Last night my friends and I got the bus back from the Palladium to Victoria Station - i impressed them all by knowing the bus numbers etc but when we went to get on the bus we were standing on the wrong side of Oxford Street and the bus was going towards Stoke Newington

I'm off to bed too - daughter safely back , she got a lift back with her friend's mum so I didn't have to go out in my jim jams after all!

Well thats it then - the wine's gone, the cointreau's gone and sarumites hidden the scotch. I think I'll get my sleping bag and hide under that bush in the corner till the morning. Ah! theres my flask of Hot Chocolate. Night all and don't make too much noise singing will you.

Alibobs...that reminds me of when Laura..my youngest went to the Trafford Centre with her friends ..Ice Skating one Christmas...on way home.. rang me up half way to Bolton...same distance..in other direction. They got on right bus...going wrong way!! Guess who had to go and collect at past midnight on a Friday night!!!???
