Terribly sorry chakka35 ...my version and others versions of how to arrive at answers for cryptic clues must differ then .
I bow down to the writers of cryptic clues .
And these people are not professional cryptic clue writers....albeit very good at it .
I shan't be helping anyone again as I am obviously not up to the job .

Shaney, don't take a huff. you are a very good and well respected helper on this site. Howevert, If you look back at your second post, you will see that you did tell bibster that the word started with NEP (pen reversed) - which it doesn't.

I know gen2 ..but I was only trying to help ..I don't need to be told off as if I was a little child .I realised myself afterwards but had to go and do things and didn't come back to this thread .It's only now I realise I made a boob .
