Organically cleaning off blood, santorum, etc. from linens

What is the best organic way to get blood, santorum, and other bodily-based fluids out of cotton linens? Is bleach considered organic? I am hoping that there is more gentle method. Thanks!

I would soak cotton linens in cold water first.
Try to rub the stain out as much as possible.
Cold water removes blood if used before putting the cotton linens in hot water. After soaking in cold water, rub the affected area with washing up liquid, then throw in the washing machine and wash as normal.

I just googled santorum because I had no idea what it was and I have to say...............yuck.lol. Salt is good for shifting blood but have no idea about the other.

either white vinegar
or baking soda mixed with lemon juice should do the trick

I've successfully used either salt, or diluted bleach in the past for blood stains on cotten linens.

As for the other fluid santorum - I'd never heard of it either Daffy, so I Googled & ditto - yuk! ;o}
