Hi all. I'd like to buy some quality jeans for my birthday, but have a problem finding good styles to fit. I'm almost 6ft with unfeasibly long legs (normally about 36inches), so usually have to opt for men's jeans, which then gives me no shape. I know some women's jeans do long leg, and I would really like something by Diesel, but cannot wear women's Diesel jeans as the waist is just far too low and I end up with permanent builder's bum. Any suggestions? (I'm a size 12ish)

Can't help you with the jeans, but are you looking for a brief joyless overnight experience with an older married man? !
Have you tried the tall section in Topshop?
long tall sally is a place you could try http://www.longtallsally.com/Default.aspx

Thanks AndyHughes, but from all your previous posts you sound like a thoroughly lovely man (and you have kids!), so I'm going to decline. You made my day though. Oh, and I'm blonde too. With reasonably sized beasts. Yes I spelt it wrong on purpose.

..and thanks for the advice, but I've already tried Topshop and Long Tall Sally. The waists on LTS jeans are too high and they're just not 'cool' enough for me. Topshop use too much lycra. I want some proper, quality jeans aka Diesel. Am willing to spend upwards of 100.
Have you tried Gap? Their 'long n lean' range are quite low waisted and they come in longer leg lengths.
Thankyou georgit for your kind words - I've had a little weep and a rubdown with a damp NME, and feel much better now. Please forgive the ramblings of a hormonal AB Poster!

I forgive you andyhughes. And thanks **********..that sounds like a plan. I'll try Gap. I've also been told to give Urban Outfitters a go by someone in the office.
I don't know if they do jeans (too posh for me), but a girl I worked with had the same problem and she used to shop in Mango.
Oooh, look at https://www.mangoshop.com Nice jeans :)

natalie_1982. I know that the trousers in Mango are definitely long enough for me, but the jeans aren't 'distressed' enough. They look too clean!
Have you tried Miss Sixty? I'm a 33 inside leg and they fit me.
just distress the jeans by driving a car over them a few times. Sorted rofl!
