online banking - paying bills, how long does it take.....

Hi, I am going through a divorce and am taking over the mortgage on my home. Basically, I need to pay my solicitor the fee before the completion date next week. Does anyone know if I pay this online via my online Barclays site, if the money will go into the solicitors account straight away or does it take a few days?

it does take a few days, sometimes even a week.
