2004 Nissan X-Trail 2.5 SVE
Just bought one, picking it up next Sunday. Would have preferred a DCi but we can't always have what we want. The reviews I read before purchase were all good except one, but that was a woman driver used to driving smaller cars and she slated it...It wasn't exactly an objective critique. Has anyone got any experience of X-Trails and have you had any problems with them? Or are they as reliable as the reviews would suggest? I know that in 4WD mode they don't measure up to serious 4x4s but it will mostly be driven in 2WD. However, I live in a rural area where having the option of 4WD will be useful at times. I just wondered if they are as good as the reviews say they are and if there is anything about them I should know. The majority of the info I have found so far has been positive and it seems a bit too good to be true.

It's a 2004 2.5 SVE (on a 53 plate though, just missed an 04 plate by 5 days)with low mileage and in excellent condition and we paid 8.5k for it. As I said, I would have preferred a 2.2 DCi sport but couldn't turn this one down as it seemed to be calling to me!
