I purchased a Ford Focus LX 2002 from a large motor retailer in January this year, last week the ignition coil knackered & today the Engine Warning Light has come on.
Should this garage be fixing it for me for free even though i did not pay extra for a warranty?
you should have been given a 12 months warrantee on the car when you bought it,which is normal practise,if you were then yes they should fix it for free.if not then,no they wont fix it.
no!!! why woul they if it was fine when they sold it. every car develops faults. its calle dthe joys of motoring. coil packs on the focus are common faults anyway and cost 25 quid to fix.
