this made me laugh - i am listening to a competition at the moment on a local radio station. This competition is called Where in the World. You have to ring in with questions to guess where a certain place is and then you win a holiday there. The questions are only answered yes or no.Someone asked "is it in europe" and the answer was yes. A lady then rang with the question "is it an island? the answer was yes, narrowing the possibilities down slightly.
someone then asked "is it France?" and then just as i finished laughing as i wasnt aware France was an island someone else rang in and asked "is it Italy?"!
if your knowlege of geography is that poor would you share it with everyone? even the presenter advised people to have a look at a map of europe before bothering to ring in!

Radio presenter: In which country would you spend shekels?
Contestant: Holland?
Radio Presenter: Try the next letter of the alphabet.
Contestant: Iceland? Ireland?
Radio presenter (trying to be helpful): It's a bad line. Did you say Israel?
Contestant: No...

its real radio oops - you can get it in scotland, yorkshire and wales..good luck - hope you get the holiday if you can enter! they do have a website which shows all the guesses given so far - although many people who enter dont seem to have been on the site and waste their time giving answers already given! bless!
My all time favourite thick moment was on Family Fortunes too...
The lady was asked by les in the final part of the show
" We asked 100 people to name something Red, if your answer is up there you will win tonights jackpot "
She answered
My cardigan!!!
The daft woman was wearing a red cardigan, she panicked and said that!!!
What a numpty...lol
