This is my final attempt for my last question:

(all answers are pink or associated with pink)

What is a pink needle? (1,8'1,6)

I have had loads of suggestions but none of them fit the letters. I know it is a plant (pin grass) butI wondered if it could be anything else. Please Shaneystar help? xx

I can't help this time ! I am as stumped as everyone else on this .I have searched and searched to no avail ! I'll have one last ditch attempt to find it but don't hold your breath. Good luck anyway x

Under pinkneedle in OED it says "shepherd's bodkin" which is apparently a herb.

I agree ...
I was thrown for a bit by the apostrophe. In the unopened question it did not appear ... (as in 1,8 1,6) but after I opened it, I saw the apostrophe ... and that had to be an 's'.
