i need information on life under the Stuarts rather then Stuarts themselves. I mean for ordinary people. Need it for my homework please help.

you should research Quarter Sessions, Poor law, Manoral records, settlement act 1662, Church attendance, Guilds and Taxation, particularly, hearth tax, window tax, land tax, poor law rates and relief. Protestation Rolls and Churchwardens records. Go to your local library or County record Office.
Remember that the Stuarts were the ruling monarchy in Scotland for almost 300 years before james iv moved his court to England. check whether you need to discuss this. good luck
