Turtle shell

Hi I have had a Turtle shell for over ten years and I bought it from a man who had brought it back from abroard many many years prior before it was illegal to import animal parts, I would like to sell it, can you suggest any way I can do this, I have tried ebay and they will not let me sell it due to some legallity, the shell is 27ins long by 14ins wide , tan in colour and its the top half only any suggestions would be welome

sorry have no idea where you would sell it other than a local auction/car boot, as I cant think that any animal lover would want it.

Your local zoo may be interested to use it as part of a conservation feature?

Thanks for your help......I have never displayed it. it has been in the shed since we've had it, my husband bought it and I don't like it...hence the sale......
Are you sure you have the size right?
27 X 24 or whats more likely 17 X 14.
This would probably be covered by legislation relating to trade in endangered species.

You could sell it you could produce a receipt or proof of ownership to demonstrate that you purchased it legally before the current Act.

Your local Trading Standards should be able to advise on what evidence you need.

Am sure the shell would have looked better on the turtle than it does gathering dust in a cupboard.
