Computer - Icons - shortcuts on desktop
4 Answers
I would like help with the computer shortcuts you can put on your desktop.
I have created a few shortcuts. When I first did them, they had lovely coloured icons. Then a few days later, the whole lot have turned back to the blue "e" icon. How do I change them back to the sites own icons? I know you can click on them, go to properties and change icon, but don't know how to change them to the sites own coloured ones. For example, ebay, with each letter a different colour. I only have four "in built" ones to choose from.

Usually you add a website to your favorites - it often has a little coloured personal icon and then it changes to blue e. The shortcuts you add to the desktop are usally for programmes on your PC to avoid constantly going into "all programmes" - and then selecting from the list.
BTW there's not always someone monitering all questions and able to answer all questions - you might need to wait a while for someone to log in, view your question and then if they can, answer it a little patience is often needed.
