I found this very shocking on both sides of the fence. The control freak husband was a complete w**ker, and his wife a door mat who stuck up for him even when he treated their son in such a nasty way (pulled him out of bed and sprayed water over him - the boy is suffering from a wasting disease). The other wife was no better. She controlled what her husband did and even had her girlfriend in her bedroom while he slept downstairs on the sofa. She claimed that the children were aware about the situation, however the daughter was confused and sad and said so to the other wife.
After the filming, the door mat husband moved out and sees the kids every now and again. He refused to appear on The Aftermath program on E4. I felt very sorry for him and his kids.
It amazes the kind of people they get to do this program. I think I need to get out more!!!
yeah i think the husband was a control freak, but he knew this and had no problem with it, as for pulling the kid out of bed, i think he did no wrong, i would of done exactly the same if my kid wouldnt get out of bed. you might think i'm wrong for thinking this but i actually thought that most of the stuff the husband did, like the stuff he did to the lesbian woman was quite funny. i know i'm probably the only 1 to think that but i dont really care. x
I think that man was a horrible little worm, but sadly there are a great many people in the world who think humiliating and bullying people is acceptable and evidently some who also find it funny. Did he remind anybody else of David Brent though?!! I bet he has absolutely no respect from anyone in the outside world, I know if I knew him I would think he was a joke, that's probably why he has to be the hard man at home. His wife looked as if every ounce of life had been sucked out of her! I was surprised when she managed to string sentences together and keep her eyes open!
Agree, the other mother was jusrt as bad as the man was in terms of treating her other half as a doormat, she seemed more concerned about having her own independent life than she did with taking care of the kids. Although I expect she wasn't as socially inept in the real world as I imagine the David Brent husband to be.
How they could rationalise they way he got his son out of bed with the swearing was shocking. You only had to look at his son to know he wasn't the full ticket.
He is the type of bloke who bullys his wife (more fool her) and his kids. Put him down the pub and see what type of man he is.
The "fat lezza" I thought was shocking as well, forcing being veggie on her kids and pretending they new about her "girlfriend" I found quire sad.
The only person I thought who had any dignity by the end was the lezzas ex.
