Eggs

When I lifted my courgette plants I found a bunch of white eggs (20-30) about the size of a seed pearly (1-2 mm). They were on the ground. Can anyone tell me what they might be? I assume not something I want in the garden!

They sound like slug or snail eggs, and as you assume, not what you want to encourage!

it sounds like snails if they are also white and sticky
