If this is the garden shrub also known as Fatsia japonica then yes.
If it's getting too big it can be pruned in the spring, after any signs of frost have passed. If neccessary you can even cut the stems right down to the ground and they will resprout at the base, otherwise look for a dormant bud along the stem, usually at a leaf junction. Good Luck. Tbird+
