When we moved, we asked Virgin Media to disconnect the old address, and set up the same package at this new address,
"ok" said VM, "nae problems Mr 4GS it shall be done"
They said they had closed the old account for the old house and opened a new one for this house, that's what they said, however, in reality they kept the old account open and continued to take payments from both accounts.
This has been going on since we moved in July, on Monday, they tried to take a payment which we cancelled, they disconnected us but after a phone call from Mrs 4GS who was at work, (they disconnected the phone, telly and broadband) they re-connected the phone and telly, they couldn't get our broadband back as the engineer used the wrong cable and they cant get a new one till Thursday PM.
At least they are not charging us for this month's line rental but talk about inconvenience
