The post has just arrived and I've got a parking fine for parking in Lidl for over 1hr 30 mins. Arrrrgggghhh!

I wasn't in Lidl for that amount of time. I had other urgent things I needed to do whilst parked up.

Whats wrong with shopping at Lidls?
Stuff there is good quality and you save a couple of pounds.
Take it its the fur coat and nae knickers brigade who look down their noses -lol
As for getting caught out parking either over the time limit or on double yellows -I have done it and I basically just chance it - caught once and held my hands up and paid it.
TBH -I wouldnt like someone parking in my drive cos there was no on road spaces left -its really the same thing.

They have been the subject of some political cartoonists due to the perception that its market strength is in selling to pensioners or the poor. It's an unfair tag to wear, but sometimes the staff at the store help to promote the image.
