Autoplay - How to stop it?

Every time I plug my MP3 player into the computer to load new music, the autoplay starts searching through the files. I don't want it to do that, but don't know how to stop it. It doesn't play anything, but messes up my MP3 and all the music on it appears to have just been loaded - even though some of it's been on there for ages. Can you help me?

The best way of stopping autoplay is to download TweakUI from the microsoft website, in this you can set which drives should 'Autoplay'
