I have been reading some derogatory comments from certain members regarding chatterbank and how it should be removed. I ask "why"?

As I see it, I do not go into or ever read music or sport as neither interest me. Should I start to post on music and sport that the Ed should remove these topics simply because I don't like them? If something does not float my boat I do not have to go into that topic or bother with it, so why do so many ask or demand that chatterbank is removed and votes accordingly as if it offends them they do not even have to look at that topic or the posts?

Seems that the much abused B&S is pretty free now and the daft, zany posts and comments are on chatterbank and that offends nobody as it's my choice to come here and read topics and I think it's a great addition to AB and I do hope that it remains.

I see a change in B&S already with more serious posts. The inconsequential posts seem to be here and its a good place for it to be. I am pretty sure if anyone takes advantage - like the "I know I am posting on the wrong place but I need a quick answer" - then the Ed will either remove it and bung it elsewhere or members of CB will simply say "post it again on so-and-so"

Indirectly CB seems to have tidied up the topics and its so nice to have a place to hang out and simply chat the mundane trivial things that elsewhere I seen to gather would be deleted.

Thank you Ed for bringing this back, and please leave it as those who vote no (under many names) do it with sour grapes as they don't rule the roost on CB and I don't think wreck things as they are apt to do on other topics.
