earls court

Some friends and I are going to a concert in Earls Court in May, as we don't live in London, we don't know of a good, cheap Hotel/Guest House close by. Could anybody give us the name of one please? Caz

It's also worth asking if they can do you any discount.
It's about 5 mins walk from Earls Court Tube Station and there are loads of takeaways and a Somerfield and newsagents on the main road outside the tube station and pubs as well.
Be very very careful where you stay though, avoid the exhibition court ones (had a very bad experience there) and some of the ones down the back streets!
If you're a bad sleeper it does get quite loud round there at night so some earplugs might be an idea.

Hi Jenna
thanks for the info on the hotel, however, all we need is somewhere to sleep as the last train home is not convienient (time wise). We were looking more at B/Bs in the vicinity, we aren't fussy, especially as it's just for 1 night. Those back street ones sound more suitable 4 us = nice and cheap, we're not even bothered about breakfast really. Thanks once again

Fair enough, you could try London Town...

Just check out any places suggested as there are usually details and reviews on the web.
Please be careful though, as it can be a rough place. I'm not that picky but was in one of the back street ones and it was filthy, smelly, unhygienic and really not a pleasant experience.

For cheap as chips, try the easyHotel which is close by.. or Kensington International Inn.. both are clean, and good value.
Here's the best link I found, with some guest houses listed too...
