The delay with me was that at first they suspected it was my appendix, then after they decided it wasnt, they wanted a sample of me and I just couldnt go! lol They waited four hours for a little drop! Make sure you drink lots and look after yourself as I ended up in hospital on a drip!
It wasnt explained to me what had caused it but it didnt affect baby at all.
Hope you feel better soon :)

I've recently been on antibiotics for the same thing. It wont harm your baby and its much more important to make sure any infection you have is cleared up asap.
With the amount of trauma your body has to go through down there just to carry a baby its not surprising we end up with these things.
Dont worry, just drink lots of water and try to eat as healthy as poss.
