I have just bought a new laptop and am trying to connect it to the wireless internet connection we already have set up for two other computers in our house.
This is all pretty self-explanatory and I have run into no problems so far apart from...nobody can remember the bloody password for the router thing! Is there any way I can get around this? If not, who do I contact or where do I go to find out the password? Do I have to set up the whole connection again for all three computers? It's a Netgear thing, if that matters any.

Oh dear. Dig out the manual for the router. It'll explain how to reset it to factory settings. This should include resetting the password to something simple (like password or admin).

You should then be able to change the password to something you can remember.

If you do this, you'll need to change the connection settings for the other PCs becuase they'll be trying to use the old password.
Access the router admin pages, usually by typing the following in the address bar:

192.168.0.1 0r
192.168.1.1

From there you will be able to access the router passwords.
