Hourly Rates of Pay

Can someone please tell me what the legal hourly rate is now. I have heard its gone up a couple of pence. What can you do if you dont get paid the correct rate? I have also heard annual holidays have been increased, I work as a Care Assistant part time but am still unsure of my legal rights to Holidays etc. My manager is a bit sneaky about it all. Thankyou

Does that mean my son who will be 18 soon and is an apprentice, will get a rise on his 18th birthday?
