ENG: We have an extremely limited access to Hersheys products here in the UK. Theyve tried launching a creamy milk chocolate version, which hasnt done very well and the original bars are almost impossible to find outside of Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and a couple of other shops. Harrods dont even carry them. Hershey kisses are available in specialty shops, especially the large ones in the red box. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, I do have Hersheys products in our home. I find theyre excellent in some recipes but not for others. I almost exclusively use Hersheys dark (plain to us) chocolate when I make mousse & double cream cakes.
I suppose, after reading the comments, Hersheys is to England what Bovril (Beef tea) is to Americans.
But as always, Lentente cordiale is what puts the Great into Britain.
I wish yall well
