I haven't been watching the repeats, but I watched it when it was fist on, what episode was it last night?
Question Author
It was the one where the people in the remote village in the Brecon Beacons were "kidnapping" travellers..... do you remember it? I had a really creepy experience last night...it's just as well I didn't see the episode before I drove home from Wiltshire (across the Beacons), otherwise I'd have completely freaked out!
That episode freaked me out too!!

Is there to be another series?
Question Author
I don't know - hope so!
It was so creepy last night - I'd spent almost 5 hours stuck on the M4, trying to get home to Wales & finally decided to come off at Newport & cross the Brecons & the Cambrian Mountains to get to my place. As I was driving the last 5 miles, over the mountain, in the dark, nothing around but me & no mobile phone signal, I saw this "thing" lying by the side of the road.....
gasp

im dying to hear the story, I never watch Torchwood
Question Author
Well, the episode started off with this young lass, driving over the Welsh mountains (it was filmed in the Brecons), and she was talking to her boyfriend on her mobile....then the signal went (it's like that here).....

and she saw this "thing" lying in the road. It looked like a body, so she stopped her car & got out to see if it was all right.....
...goose bumps...
Question Author
....the next thing was, she was attacked by something or someone.....

and never seen again - till the guys from Torchwood discovered her body (oohh,, it was GRUESOME!!)
yuk, and you drove in the dark wi no moby signal on yer own over the Brecons - glad it wasnt after that episode right enough then

stuff of nightmares that

im cold now lol
not seen any of it but sounds good!! might have to watch it!
TAGGART alert
Question Author
Well, as I said, it was dark, no phone signal, no-one on the mountain road but me & I saw this shape by the side of the road....
It turned out to be a wee sheep, who'd decided that would be a good place to kip, but it scared the life out of me.
Anyhow, I got home, after the journey from hell (anyone else stuck on the M4 last night?) - it had taken me 5 & a half hours to do a journey that would normally take 3 & I was just in time for "Torchwood". By God, if I'd seen it before I made that journey, I'd have totallly freaked! It turned out that there was this little village in the mountains, where the inhabitants were "harvesting" travellers.....

to eat!
Mind you, I'd have probably been OK, as I'm local, but it was till scary! I was even a bit "iffy" when I let the dogs out afterwards (it's ever so dark & un-inhabited where I live!)
kleiber, still strange that after that journey you made it on time to see THAT episode eh, would give me the jitters
BBC say season 2 will be sird early 2008 :):):)

Had to shoot off & watch "Taggart" last night (thanks for the reminder, Weeal!) I was just glad I didn't see that episode of "Torchwood" before I made the drive home! Good thing it's coming back next year - it's a great series!!
Yeah it is!!

What's your favourite Torchwood gadget??
Question Author
Jack!! Seriously, though, I rather liked the thingy that brought people back to life long enough to tell the team who'd killed them!
