Can any one give me any advise on how to meditate and chant, i love the idea of chanting it seems so peacefull and calming i would love any tips on how to get started with this. thanx suzee1 X

Some centres offer short classes in meditation techniques. It might be worth looking into as it's not always the easieist thing to do if you don't know where to start. You can probably find places listed under Meditation or Relaxation, or a Health shop might help.
You could also try an adult learning centre as many offer this sort of course now.

it really can change your life.
Finding a good guide is the best move, like bensmum said have a look about, also try asking in your local crystal shop.
i met an amazing woman years ago, shes moved to oz now.
i have a recording of one of her yoga/meditation classes, shame there is not a private message thing on here, i could send an mp3 (not saved it yet to pc though!!)
Infact I have not listened to it for a while so thanks for reminding me! :)

thats funny, youve just reminded me i no it sounds strange but iv never put the lottery on in my life, i think i might give it a go beginers luck and all that, i should have clicked on sooner about the numbers its just with a name like that i thorght you were in to something mystical any way thanks fir the giggle, x
