the space boy

I was watching a programme that mentioned the space boy yesturday and it took me back to school years, but i also remember watching another programme at school that had people in it that where orange, blue and purple( dont laugh my memory is not gr8) and dont know if it was a episode out of space boy or another programme. I remember that I loved watching it though.
Any ideas what the programme was?
