G string has the "T" bar whereas a thong has the material going up your bum with a triangle of material at the base of your spine and a full material front. G Strings are basically like string. The string goes up your bum, the "T" bar sits at the base of your spine and there is a little triangle of material at the front. Not much difference when you are wearing trousers or a skirt though!
