Somebody else must be drinking my share of the alcohol as I rarely touch the stuff. I am a whisky drinker though but don't get through one bottle a year never mind 37.

Read the second article again, Gromit - it states that Brits are drinking the EQUIVALENT of 37 bottles of whisky a year.

The same amount of alchohol, but from wine, beers and spirits.

I drink far too much according to health guidelines yet I drink nowhere like 38 bottles of whiskey a year!!!! How pi55ed must these people be??

I eat loads, am a fairly large chap and have been drinking steadily since 13/14 years old yet twp or three pints OR two or three single malts is more than enough for me to enjoy.

And living on my own I can hardly get through a bottle of red a la Bridgette Jones by myself!!

I suppose this explains why we live in a violent society with loads of single mothers and the highest abortion rate per capita in the entire world.

However, I would prefer these idots drink themsleves to death than take drugs.

Not many people will steal off their own Grandmother or rob the local corner shop for drink. Yes, some do, but not as many as smack heads and crack wh0res.

the thing is wardy that those young binge drinkers that drink alco-pops or the like will happily drink 6/7/8/9 etc a night. Whiskey isnt the same sort of drink.

4GS is i had her body at the age of 38 i dont think id be too bothered about having to lose a bit of facial hair that came with it.
