My so who is now 18 managed to open a Paypal account when he was 17 and purchased goods ( sound equipment) to the value of 260.
Settlement was by direct debit from his bank account and when the direct debit was presented it was returned for lack of funds.
Paypal are threatening to pursue him through the courts but my view is that as the debt was incurred as a minor it is not enforceable?
